Good Afternoon Everyone.
Here is an update of events that will be happening in July at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Our Sunday Morning Schedule will be normal with Bible Study at 9:30am and Worship at 10:45.
July 8th, we will welcome Paul McLendon to the pulpit. Chris Aho will be away at a family reunion in Michigan.
On July 15, we will begin a sermon series on the Traits of a Missional Leader. The series will be between 5 and 7 weeks long and contains sermons of 5 specific traits.
On Wednesday nights we will gather and finish up our studies of 1 Corinthians.
We will also have a time of fellowship on each wednesday either before or after Bible Study.
July 11 we will study chapter 14. You are also welcome to join us for discounted appetizers at Bonefish Grill at 430pm, or for an after-dinner at Heros following Bible Study and prayer at about 6:45.
July 18 and 25 will follow a similar pattern and will be determined later in the month.
Sunday Nights in July will bring a variety of activites.
July 1: Deacons will meet at at 5pm. Bible Readers will meet at 6pm.
(If you are reading the whole bible this year, please join us. If you would like to join a group of people reading the whole Bible this year, please come as well).
July 8- No activities
July 15- We are planning to serve dinner for One Meal
July 22- Church Council will meet at 6pm.
July 29- No activities.
Finally, the Church will meet for a covered dish lunch and Quarterly Church Conference on July 29th following morning worship.
There will likely be many other activities that pop up and we will try to keep you up to date about them here and in the weekly bulletins. Thanks for checking in on us and we hope you will join us for worship or any other activity soon.
